The retained search for a Board Member was for a firm that builds an online portal in a social network of communities that facilitates career options, career advice, job opportunities, and sharing for evangelical Christians.  The faith based community of subscribers also includes connecting buyers and sellers much like Angie’s List.  The Board Member search was to identify and recruit a senior executive who is currently servicing or has served on a Board of Directors on the Finance Committee.

This search required a candidate who had served on a Board as well as needed to be a cultural fit. Interestingly a good candidate was identified who also had previously served as a Board Member for a non-profit prison ministry.  This bode well as eWorld had engaged the U.S. Department of Justice to help people who are released from prison to begin new careers.
