CTO Retained Search for Bluetooth vendor in Barcelona

CTO Bluetooth Retained Search Client Testimonial NextGen Global Executive Search

The search strategy we developed was to identify current CTO or SVP Engineering candidates who had a successful track record in developing product roadmaps and had taken to fill production and to market.    The CTO would be managing a team of R&D engineers in Barcelona as well as the manufacturing engineering group in Shenzhen, China.  Within one week’s time, we identified the perfect candidate who was open to relocate, had several patents in mobile devices under his belt, and had name recognition -  important for further VC investments.

CTO Search Completed within 8 Weeks

After two rounds of interviews in Barcelona, Charles Moore worked with the Board of Directors and CEO to develop a comprehensive employment agreement including salary, MBOs, stock options, relocation, severance, and executive benefits.  The offer required only slight modification ion the negotiations and the CTO candidate accepted the offer.

NextGen Global Executive Search has continued to work with the CEO in his new digital media company three years later.

What Makes the Big Billers Tick – Secrets of Their Success

“What Makes the Big Billers Tick – Secrets of Their Success”   shows recruiters first- hand how Big Billers achieve their million dollar success. Produced by Bill Vick and Des Walsh, the audiobook DVD with over ten hours of audio from live interviews with recruiting industry top producers, and an 85 page e-book is a roadmap for recruiters.  Charles Moore was featured as a Specialization Big Biller – here is an excerpt:

Charles Moore described how he went about specializing in the wireless industry.

I’ve always been under the belief that knowledge is power. What I decided to do when I went out on my own, I went and immersed myself in non-technical training in the wireless industry.

So I would pay for and go to these one week and two and a half week courses. So that what I was able to do was to totally educate myself so that when I spoke to a hiring manager I knew exactly what kind of products or services they were building. It gave me much better ammunition to go out and source the right candidate.

I highly recommend that to other recruiters.

The biggest problem that I see with a lot of recruiters that I talk to is that they know everything there is to know about recruiting … but a lot of them don’t know the industry that they recruit in. So I highly recommend that they get themselves trained. Spend the extra money and get themselves trained, so that when they’re talking to a hiring manager, the hiring manager is very comfortable that you understand exactly what they’re doing.
